An Iranian lawmaker says the resumption of US-hosted peace talks between Israel and Palestine is aimed at covering up Israel’s settlement projects. The lawmaker also stresses that the talks will end inconclusively, Press TV reports.
“A review of the reconciliation process since its beginning 18 years ago leaves no doubt that these talks are merely a cover for the continuation of creeping occupation within the framework of settlement construction and are aimed at buying time for the Israeli regime in order to complete these projects,” member of Iran's parliamentary committee for national security and foreign policy Ebrahim Aqa-Mohammadi is quoted as saying on Tuesday.
