SOCAR joins Georgian Co-Investment Fund

Azerbaijan’s SOCAR has joined the Georgian Co-Investment Fund founded by Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, Trend reports.

The fund consists of Dabi Group, RAKIA, SOCAR, Batumi Terminal, KazTransOil, Celic Holding, Milestone International Holdings Group Limited, Ivanishvili and family of late Badri Patarkatsishvili. A total of $6 billion has been accumulated by the fund to finance energy, infrastructure, industry, agriculture, tourism.

Ivanishvili initiated the fund a few months ago. It will finance 25-75% of expenses of certain projects.
