On Thursday night an ambulance was attacked in Dagestan. Over 1.5 million rubles of wages for hospital staff were stolen, RIA Novosti reports, citing a spokesman of the Dagestani Interior Ministry.
He said that the ambulance of Charodin hospital was attacked near the 20 km mark of the Gunib-Tsurib road, close to the village of Gunib. The driver was hospitalized with gunshot wounds. 5.45 mm cartridges were found at the scene.
