The council of ministers of the OSCE have decided to hold a summit on December 1st and 2nd, APA reports, citing the press-service of the organization.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the summit will determine the strategic goals and the ‘road map’ for developing the OSCE. Kazakhstan is the current chairman-in-office of the OSCE.
Before the summit, Warsaw, Vienna and Astana will have an observing conference in September-November. This will be the 7th summit of the OSCE. The previous ones were held in 1975 in Helsinki, in 1990 in Paris, in 1992 in Helsinki, in 1994 in Budapest, in 1996 in Lisbon and in 1999 in Istanbul.
