Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said today that any additional sanctions against Iran would cause economic aggravations for the republic, RIA Novosti reports.
The official noted that resolutions of the UNSC were enough to enforce non-proliferation of weapons. Any additional sanctions had economic impact, he said.
The US passed new sanctions as a response to Iranian nuclear developments. Iran denies development of nuclear weapons.
