The situation surrounding crime is becoming ever more tense, a lawmaker from Georgia's opposition United National Movement party, Pavle Kublashvili, says.
The remarks were made after the country's interior ministry published statistics showing that the number of crimes committed in Georgia has decreased by 20 percent. At the same time the Georgian Statistics Service says the number of crimes has increased.
According to Kublashvili, the fact that the situation is changing for the worse is quite evident.
