New Iranian president hails gender equality

New Iranian President Hassan Rouhani hails gender equality and says he will appoint women as members of his cabinet, Ekho Moskvy reports on Tuesday.

Rouhani was sworn in as Iranian president on August 4. The previous day his candidacy was officially endorsed by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Aytollah Ali Khamenei.
