Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu will meet US Secretary of State John Kerry and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, spokeswoman of the US State Department Jennifer Psaki said.
They will discuss the situation in Syria, Iran, ex-agent of the CIA Edward Snowden and the new START Treaty. The talks concern strategic stability, political and military cooperation and regional problems.
According to information of the Russian Foreign Ministry on July 3, the talks were set for August 9. Such meeting was held during presidency of George W. Bush.
