Azerbaijan plans to start construction of a universal terrestrial station for Azerkosmos this year to gain information from satellites 24/7, APA reports.
Such facility will allow monitoring of the state border, pollution, oil spills, petroleum waste, weather and climate changes, ecology and natural resources, urban planning and natural disasters.
