Moscow disappointed by Obama's decision to cancel meeting with Putin

The Kremlin is disappointed by US President Barack Obama's decision to cancel his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Russia's private Dozhd TV channel reports on Wednesday.

"We are disappointed with the US administration's decision to cancel President Obama's visit to Moscow scheduled for September," Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov is quoted as saying by Interfax.

"This issue shows that the United States is not ready to develop bilateral relations on the basis of equality and cooperation," the official said.
