According to the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Aid of Russia and South Ossetia (signed on September 17, 2008), Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev ordered the Russian Ministry for Communications to negotiate an international communication code for South Ossetia, ITAR-TASS reports.
