Turkish opposition leader to visit Iraq

Leader of Turkey's main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is going to visit Iraq, Hürriyet Daily News cites the CHP as saying in an official statement.


Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is going to meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on August 21 in Baghdad, the party informs.


The Turkish opposition leader and the Iraqi prime minister are expected to discuss various issues of bilateral relations including that of the disputed Iraqi province of Kirkuk, Hürriyet Daily News reports.
