Turkish foreign minister calls for talks on Egypt crisis

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, speaking at the Turkic Council in the Azeri city of Qabala, urged European Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton and Foreign Ministers Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah (Qatar) and Maite Nkoana-Mashabane (South Africa) to discuss the disorder in Egypt.

The sides agreed that the UNSC must stop the violence in Egypt. 638 supporters of ex-President Mohamed Morsi have died since security forces began clearing protest camps earlier this week.
