Over a thousand Morsi supporters arrested in Egypt

Over one thousand supporters of ousted Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi have been arrested for taking part in the uprising, the country's interior ministry says in a statement,

"The number of arrested members of the Muslim Brotherhood has reached 1004 people," Interfax reports. 558 of them have been arrested in the capital, the news agency informs.
