Russian President Vladimir Putin has passed the list of controlled zones of the Sochi Olympic Games yesterday, RIA Novosti reports.
The zones include the perimeter of the Olympic Park and Olympic sports facilities. They will only be accessible for servicing and technical reasons. The police will check IDs before granting access.
Vehicles will not be allowed in Sochi on January 7 – March 21, 2014. The only exceptions are railway transportation, emergency vehicles and cars with special accreditation.
