The Patriarch of Georgia, His Holiness Ilya the Second, has celebrated a service in commemoration of the victims of the August 2008 war with Russia in South Ossetia, Georgia Online reports.
According to the Patriarch, he was praying for both Georgian and Russian soldiers, as both were only obeying orders.
