Abkhazia believes that Medvedev's visit will improve relations between the two countries

The president of Abkhazia, Sergei Bagapsh, believes that the recent visit of president Medvedev to the country is an historic event in the history of bilateral relations between the two countries.

"This is an historic visit. For the first time, the president of Greater Russia is visiting an independent Abkhazia," Bagapsh said, RIA Novosti reports. According to his words, all the issues of economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the visit.
