Karachay-Cherkessia Leader Rashid Temrezov presented Ruslan Tekeyev to business and public officials as the Karachayevsk acting Mayor, ITAR-TASS reports.
Temrezov expressed confidence that he will help the city eveloped and thanked ex-Mayor Soltan Semyonov for his work.
Semyonov resigned yesterday. He is suspected of unauthorized use of 19.5 million rubles.
