The president of the Georgian breakaway republic of South Ossetia, Leonid Tibilov, told VK correspondent in an interview that his country should enhance ties with the international community.
The president of the semi-recognized republic especially stressed the importance of successful cooperation with Russia. He underlined the necessity of cooperation in the humanitarian sphere in particular.
Some important steps have already been made, Tibilov told VK.
He noted that during his visit to Russia the republic had signed a cooperation agreement with Russian news agency ITAR-TASS. According to the document, ITAR-TASS will help the republic to establish its own state news agency.
