The leader of the Musavat party, Isa Gambar, has withdrawn his candidacy for the presidency of Azerbaijan. Gambar said his decision was motivated by the fact that the National Council of the party has put forward Jamil Gasanli as a reserve candidate.
He announced the news at today's meeting of the Board of the party, calling on all party members to actively support Jamila Gasanli.
