The Ingush parliament will elect the new leader of the republic on September 8, ITAR-TASS reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the following candidates to choose from on August 19: Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, acting Leader of Ingushetia, Uruskhan Yevloyev, head of the council of the regional office of A Fair Russia, and Magomed Tatriyev, deputy head of the People’s Assembly.
Dagestan has parliamentary elections of its leader as well.
