The Israeli authorities have said they will leave the international commission investigating the"Freedom Flotilla" incident if it interrogates Israeli soldiers, reports Reuters .
Israel's discontent is caused by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's denial that the commission would not speak to "commandos", but rely upon the investigation of the army itself.
On the 31st of May Israeli forces stopped six ships of the fleet. During the operation, 9 men from the Turkish vessel 'Mavi Marmara' were killed. Israel claims that there was weaponry aboard the ship and it had to act in self-defense.
