Russian President Vladimir Putin is talking to the heads of both chambers of the Federation Council – the chairwoman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, and the chairman of the State Duma, Sergei Naryshkin.
The president is discussing the tense situation over Syria with the speakers, RIA Novosti reports.
Matviyenko stated that the Federation Council would address US senators on the Syrian problem. According to her, the US Congress will take a balanced position and won’t support military intervention in Syria.
