Three military ships of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces will visit Astrakhan on Wednesday, ITAR-TASS cites 1st-rank Captain Alexander Prokhorov, Deputy Commander of the Caspian Fleet.
The Azerbaijani ships are escorted by the Volgodonsk artillery ship. The Azerbaijani ships include a 159A project guard ship and an 888 project control ship. They will be commanded by Azerbaijani Vice Admiral Shakhin Sultanov, Commander of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces.
The Azerbaijani Navy will lay flowers to the Eternal Flame and the Heydar Aliyev Monument.
The Dagestan missile ship and Volgodonsk artillery ship visited Baku in early August.
