Russia will not strengthen its naval presence in the Mediterranean Sea, RIA Novosti reports.
The Priazovye ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is on its way to the Mediterranean Sea for scouting missions. The Mediterranean group is undergoing rotation of ships according to the schedule set in early 2013. The processes have nothing to do with the events in Syria.
