Zang Sinfang, director of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, and Iranian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mardani-Fard Ali met at the Iranian Embassy in Tashkent and discussed development in Central Asia, Middle East and Afghanistan, Trend reports.
They expressed readiness for regular meetings, cooperation to enforce security and confirmed interest in counter-terrorist efforts.
The ambassador invited the Sinfang for a visit to Iran. The SCO official informed the ambassador about measures to combat terrorism, drug trafficking.
