The MIA will control the spending of funds allocated to South Ossetia. 

By request of the president of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoyta the Economic Security Department of the Russian Federation MIA monitors the recovery funds spending. Declared acting executive of the economic security department Ilya Falinsky, informed Novostii Gryzii.
“The recovering process is now under the control Russian Federation. The Economic Security department monitors the process as part of Regional Development Ministry group of experts. We have already achieved some results. We will re-check expenditure of every rubble”, - claimed Falinsky during the meeting with the president of SO in Vladikavkaz.

Kokoyta pointed out in his opening speech that law-enforcement authorities have already completed a considerable part of work on control of fund expenditures allocated to South Ossetia. He also said that such inspections are highly needed especially in the situation when contractors are involved in recovery works, since some of them didn’t carry out obligations being fully financed

“Law-enforcement agencies run check-up of those contractors who incur obligations - building of facilities intended for social needs, and haven’t submitted accounts on executed work. There are 12 such organizations”, said Falinsky.

As Kokoyta points out, thanks to monitoring of expenditures more than 1.5 billion of rubbles were saved for the past year.
