US Senate approve resolution for Syria

The US Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs gave 10 votes for the resolution on Syria, 7 against. All members of the Senate will meet on September 9 to consider the document, RIA Novosti reports.

On August 21, the US accused Syrian President Bashar al-Assad of using chemical weapons. US President Barack Obama asked the US Congress to allow a military operation to start without sanctions of the UN Security Council.
