One of the streets of Grozny will be named after the former leader of Azerbaijan, the noted state and political figure Heydar Aliyev, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said in an interview to Azerbaijani television, Gazeta.ru reports, citing the president’s press-service.
Kadyrov noted that first Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov and Heydar Aliyev were friends.
