Istanbul will host the 10th summit of the leaders of Turkic-language states on 15-16 September, Trend reports, citing the press-service of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Last week the foreign ministers of Turkic-language states discussed the summit in Istanbul, expressing hope that it will form a permanent office of the council of the Turkic world.
The previous summit was held on 2-3 October 2009 in Nakhchyvan.
The regular participants of the summit, which was first held in 1992 in Ankara, are the leaders of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
