The Parliamentary Assembly of the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development will monitor the presidential polls in Azerbaijan, Trend cites Secretary General of the organization Valery Chechelashvili.
Observers of the organization will visit Baku on October 9, the day of the elections.
A delegation of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly will visit Baku on October 7-8 to monitor the process and attend a press conference on October 10. The Georgian delegation will be headed by Zurab Abashidze, Vice Speaker of Parliament and Chairman of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly.
The PACE, OSCE, ODIHR, CIS and other structures will monitor the elections in Azerbaijan.
