Ali Taziyev, nicknamed Magas, will be questioned about an assassination attempt against Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov in 2009 by the North Caucasian District Court in Rostov-on-Don at 10.00 am on September 9, Interfax reports.
Two bodyguards were killed and two other people, including Yevkurov, were injured in an attack in June 2009.
Magas has been charged with 24 terrorist acts. The case includes over 600 defendants and over 400 witnesses. He is charged with creation of illegal armed formations, revolt, illegal gun trafficking and production, attacks on police officers.
His gang is suspected of blowing up a bus in Nevinnomyssk in December 2007 (3 dead, 17 injured), blast at a police station in the Nazranovsky District of Ingushetia in August 2009 (21 dead, 289 injured).
