70 members of illegal armed groups remain in Chechnya

There are 70 members of illegal armed groups hiding in Chechnya, the Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said in an interview to Azerbaijani television, Interfax reports.


He added that they betrayed the interests of religion. Kadyrov also said that two militants named Elmurzayev and Ibragimov were killed yesterday after arriving in Grozny.


The president noted that measures are taken as soon as members of illegal armed groups appear in the republic.
