France calls on EU to support strike on Syria

After his meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius announced that the two nations do not need military support from EU member states during the operation in Syria, but want these countries to back the strike politically.

"We do not need military support of EU countries, but we want their political support," he said.
