Syria's Assad denies chemical weapons allegations

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad denies that he has used chemical weapons against his own people.

Assad said so in an interview with the PBS TV channel that will be officially broadcast on Monday night.

According to Assad, there is no evidence that the Syrian government is responsible for the recent chemical attacks near Damascus.
