Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab commented on murder of Russian diplomat Dmitry Vishernev in Abkhazia today, stating that he met the interior minister, prosecutor general and head of the State Security Service, RIA Novosti reports.
According to prosecutors, a bomb was found at the murder scene. The murder itself happened a day after the interview of Ankvab with mass media. He said back then that the crime level was not exceeding 35 cases per 10,000 residents. Some believe that the murder was organized to cause tensions in Russian-Abkhaz relations.
