Azerbaijani presidential polls to be held according to international standards

Leonid Slutsky, the coordinator of observers of Azerbaijani presidential polls from the CIS Interparliament Assembly, believes that the elections will be held according to international democratic norms and standards, Trend reports.

Slutsky and chief secretary of the Council of the CIS Interparliament Assembly are visiting Azerbaijan. They monitor preparations for the presidential elections, meet candidates for president and authorities of the Central Electoral Commission and the Azerbaijani parliament.
