Russia and US agreed to establish international control over Syrian chemical arsenal

Russia and the United States have managed to reach an agreement over the ongoing Syrian crisis, world media report on Sunday.

 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry agreed to establish international control over Syria's chemical weapons.

Minister Lavrov also said that the idea was discussed by Presidents Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama during the G20 summit in St. Petersburg.
