Iran considers calls for war a serious crime

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that Iran was ready to form relations with the US basing on trust. The minister noted that the US should stop using threats against Iran.

Zarif called urges for war a serious crime. He emphasized that the critical stage of the Syrian conflict had passed and Tehran was hoping that threats of a military operation were minimal.

The Iranian foreign minister added that he will meet British Foreign Secretary William Hague during the session of the UN General Assembly in New York this month.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is expected to make a speech at the General Assembly on September 24.
