Presidential elections in Georgia will become a democratic breakthrough, President of the OSCE PA says

According to Ranko Krivokapic, Chairman of the Parliament of Montenegro and the current president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the presidential elections in Georgia scheduled for October 27 may become a new breakthrough in democracy.

Krivokapic will pay a visit to Georgia, during which he is to meet with the representatives of various political forces, including the presidential candidates.

"The OSCE PA has participated in this process for nine years, and will once again be represented at the polls. A strong delegation will be sent to these elections, in order to observe them actively. Democracy is a process, and it is necessary to ensure it. We understand your situation, because our country has already gone through this," Krivokapic said.
