Missiles with sarin were used near Damascus, UN experts say

A UN panel of experts has stated that in the attack against the civilian population in August in a suburb of Damascus ground-to-ground missiles with the poison gas sarin were used, the Associated Press reports, citing the report by the experts.

"The samples from the environment, chemical and medical samples that we have collected provide clear and convincing evidence that ground-to-ground missiles with the nerve agent sarin were used ... in Ghouta in Damascus," the first page of the report reads according to RIA Novosti.
