Armenia calls for enhanced EU ties

Armenia is interested in further enhancement of the country's cooperation with the European Union, Armenian Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan said today in Warsaw.

The Armenian minister stressed however that EU-Armenian cooperation should not harm Russia.

Russia is Armenia's major economic and military partner. The mutual ties are very important for Armenia, especially in the sphere of energy, Nalbandyan said.
