US Lieutenant-General Richard Tryon, Commander of the US Marine Forces in Europe, visited the Krtsanisi Training Center in Georgia yesterday and met Brigadier-General Vakhtang Kapanadze, Deputy Commander of the Joint Staff, Trend reports.
High-ranking military officials observed training of the scouting battalion for the ISAF mission. Tryon expressed satisfaction with the skills of Georgian and US soldiers.
The generals talked with Georgian and US instructors. They visited a simulation center.
Georgian deputy defense minister and the head of the Joint Staff will meet the generals within the framework of Tryon’s visit.
