The permanent members of the UN Security Council received the resolution project for Syrian chemical weapons yesterday, RIA Novosti reports.
France, UK, and the US presented the project at the session in New York. The document will now be analyzed by Russia and China.
The talks in New York lasted about 20 minutes without discussions of the resolution text.
The resolution project contains points obliging Syria to destroy chemical weapons under international control. Realization of the initiative was discussed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry in Geneva.
