Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the Syrian helicopter that the Turkish military had acted according to norms when shooting down the Syrian helicopter, Trend reports.
The helicopter was shot down at 2.00 pm and landed 400m away from the Turkish border. Its pilots were ejected before the crash, but were later killed by the Free Syrian Army. The helicopter moved two kilometers behind the Turkish border and ignored warnings.
