Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said yesterday that coordination of law enforcers of the NCFD was the main condition to beat terrorism in the region, the Chechen government reports.
Kadyrov reminded that the Chechen-Ingush border was enforced. He emphasized the need to eliminate Doku Umarov and his followers in order to stop recruitment of young people.
The Chechen leader noted that the Sunzhenskoye Police Department was operating normally. 13 private and 7 state cars were purchased for the department.
Officers Leonid Puchkov and Alexander Yegorov killed by a suicide bomber at the department on Monday received Medals of Protectors of the Chechen Republic. Families of the three officers killed in the attack received 1 million rubles and families of the four wounded officers received 500,000 rubles each.
