Therese Grenchik has replaced Michael Snowden as the US Consul General in Almaty., Trend reports.
Grenchik has been a diplomat since 1995. She was the Consult Advisor in Berlin before the latest promotion. She worked as the director of the section for politics and regional affairs of the Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs, deputy director of the directorate for Pakistan t the Bureau for Southern and Central Asia.
Grenchik served in Iraq, Pakistan, India, Kosovo, Bulgaria.
