Russian and Iranian Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Mohammad Javad Zarif met at the UN General Assembly in New York and discussed progress of six mediators of the Iranian nuclear program and the problem of chemical weapons, RIA Novosti reports.
EU Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton said earlier that Zarif will meet the mediators this week.
