Russian PM considers relations with Kazakhstan well-protected

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev believes that Russian-Kazakh relations were safe from the negative impact of world markets, despite global recession and regress in European and Asia-Pacific economies.

He said at a meeting with Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmaeotv that discussions of the problem started on September 25. Akhmetov expressed confidence that the sides will solve all topical issues.

Medvedev met Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana on September 24. They discussed cooperation in economy, joint projects and collaboration within the framework of the EurAsEC.
