Judge of Dagestani Supreme Court attacked

A judge of the Dagestani Supreme Court was attacked today in the republic's capital of Makhachkala, the republic's Investigative Committee says.

Magomedmukhtar Shapiyev was attacked in his car at 8.30 p.m. An unknown person opened fire at the judge and then fled. The judge and his son, who were both badly wounded, were taken to a local hospital.
